NCCPC Presents at ICA Summer Seminar

Coronado, CA – The Northern California College Promise Coalition (NCCPC), in collaboration with City of San Fernando Mayor Celeste Rodriguez, will present at the Independent Cities Association (ICA) 2024 Summer Seminar.
In their session, Strengthening Cradle-to-Career Ecosystems in Your City, Mer and Mayor Rodriguez will highlight the Education Cities Initiative Toolkit, a resource for cities to embed the value of education in local governments and elevate partnerships to eliminate poverty and enhance quality of life. Together, they will explore the five elements of a successful education city initiative, examples of the commitments cities are encouraged to make (such as promoting the statewide child savings account program CalKIDS), and bring actionable strategies and tools back to your city.
