Pacific Gas and Electric Company Partners with NCCPC for 3rd Year
Pacific Gas and Electric Company awards NCCPC with a grant of $10,000, totaling $210,000 in financial support to the coalition’s collective impact efforts since 2022
RICHMOND, CA – NCCPC is thrilled to announce we have received a grant from Pacific Gas and Electric Company (“PG&E”)! These funds will strengthen our mission to make college accessible and affordable for marginalized and underrepresented students in Northern California and beyond.
PG&E is committed to working together with the communities they serve to build a better California. By fostering strong partnerships with local non-profits like NCCPC, and schools, through their Better Together Giving Program, they are committed to preserving and building diversity, environmental stewardship, and opportunity in our communities.
The grant provided by PG&E will further NCCPC’s goal to advocate for and implement equitable and student-centered policies, provide safe and productive spaces for thought-partnership and collaboration, and advance data-centered best and promising practices with trusted toolkits and resources. The grant will support NCCPC in updating resources for our members that will also benefit employers and colleges, such as our:
- Campus and Workforce Partnerships Guides,
- Scholarship Displacement Know Your Rights Toolkits,
- California Child Savings Account Toolkit,
- Education City Toolkit, and
- College Financial Literacy Toolkit.
