Levels of Membership

As a Champion (organization) member, you receive:

1. The ability to shape the coalition’s policy agenda and benefit from resultant policy changes.
   1. From 2025-2028 we will pursue policies and bills that align with the issue priorities indicated in our 3-Year Policy Agenda.
2. Access to partnerships benefits, where possible, negotiated by the coalition.
   1. In 2025, we have executed agreements with San José City College, and the University of California Office of the President, with more to follow; and 
   2. A landscape analysis of regional post-secondary options and their support offerings.
3. Access to exclusive NCCPC Membership Tools will include:
   1. Asset Map 
   2. Member Directory 
   3. Members Only NCCPC webpage 
   4. Referrals to grant and fundraising opportunities 
4. Professional Development or Leadership Opportunities (as openings become available)
   1. NCCPC Ambassador or Public Speaking 
   2. Steering Committee Leadership 
   3. Committee Co-Chair Appointment
5. Free attendance at our community of practice efforts, raising the level of performance of college access and success professionals across the region, including your own. 
   1. In 2025, we will host virtual, in-person, or hybrid events including, but not limited to: an Annual All Member Meeting and a Joint Convening of Elected Officials and Funders.
   2. Free attendance by an unlimited number of your staff at all special events.
   3. Access to NCCPC-managed resources, toolkits, documents and guides.

As an Advocate (individual) member, you receive:

1. The ability to shape the coalition’s policy agenda and benefit from resultant policy changes.
   1. From 2025-2028 we will pursue policies and bills that align with the issue priorities indicated in our 3-Year Policy Agenda.
2. Access to exclusive NCCPC Membership Tools will include:

As a Steering Committee member, you receive:

The same benefits as a Champion member with GOVERNING responsibilities for the coalition. 

As of the 2024-2025 fiscal year, new Steering Committee members must be 1) nominated and 2) approved by the Steering Committee as part of a regularly scheduled meeting.
